Ripple is expanding its foothold in the US through major licenses

Ripple, a San Francisco-based blockchain company, has obtained money transfer licenses (MTLs) in New York and Texas, according to the British Daily Mail. Announcement on Monday.

The company now has more than 60 licenses around the world.

In October, the company also Believer Major license in Dubai, expanding its presence in the MENA region.

Earlier, it also received regulatory approval to operate in Singapore, another popular cryptocurrency hub.

As reported by U.Today, Ripple has also significantly expanded hiring in the US in recent months after making key gains on the regulatory front.

For years, the company has been demanding regulatory clarity amid its protracted legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

And with the new cryptocurrency-friendly SEC administration, it now hopes to turn over a new leaf.
