Bitcoin bounced after comments from the President of the US Federal Reserve Jerome Powell at the FOMC meeting, indicating that banks are allowed to serve encryption customers.

Initially, the encryption markets had a silent reaction to the decision of the Federal Open Market Committee on Wednesday, January 29, to maintain interest rates unchanged. The Federal Reserve maintained the rate of federal funds by 4.25 % to 4.50 %, pointing to "somewhat high inflation", as analysts expected.
