Hunter Horsley, CEO of US asset management heavyweight Bitwise, is excited about the growing interest in the company's spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund. Also, 24 out of 25 advisors said clients had asked them about cryptocurrencies in the past 12 months, the latest research from Bitwise found.

An unnamed wealth management firm in California, US, has onboarded 63 clients into BITB, Bitwise's spot Bitcoin ETF. The milestone was recorded in less than a year, as Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley shared with his 50,000 followers on X.
In total, the client operates $300 million in assets under management (AUM). Horsley adds that he is pleased with this achievement and considers the opportunity to attract TradFi investors to Bitcoin-based products as a privilege.
He also expects “millions” of investors to join Bitcoin ETFs.
As of press time, BITB, Bitwise's spot Bitcoin ETF, has $4.08 billion in assets under management, according to CoinGlass data. He says. It is the fifth-largest such producer, beaten only by offerings from BlackRock, Grayscale, Fidelity, and ARK.
The Bitwise Spot Bitcoin ETF is responsible for 3.65% of the total AUM of the BTC ETF sector. With weekly Bitcoin (BTC) reserves rising by 2.14%, it is also the fastest growing ETF in the top league.
Bitwise's annual survey says that 96% of customers in the United States are interested in cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin ETFs launched on January 11, 2024, and have accumulated more than $112 billion in assets under management. The reserves of these 21 funds constitute the largest collective reserve of Bitcoin (BTC) ever. The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) is the eighth largest TVL ETF in the entire investment sector.
Also this week, Bitwise completed its annual survey of asset managers and advisors. As we mentioned in the preview, the results exceeded the boldest expectations for 2024.
A total of 96% of all advisors who participated in the survey confirmed that their clients asked about the opportunities that the cryptocurrency space opens at least once in 2024.
Bitwise researchers acknowledged that this was the highest level in seven years of such reporting.
