US Bitcoin exchange-traded funds posted their third straight day of outflows this year, as Bitcoin fell below $90,000 amid broader risk-off sentiment in the market.
according to Data From SoSoValue, the 12 Bitcoin ETFs recorded $284.19 million in net outflows on January 13, extending the outflow streak to three days, during which more than $1 billion exited the funds.
Fidelity's FBTC led outflows on Monday, with $113.64 million exiting the fund, followed by ARK 21Shares' ARKB, which saw outflows of $92.36 million.
Grayscale's GBTC and Bitwise's BITB also contributed to the negative momentum, with investors withdrawing $89.01 million and $18.64 million from the funds, respectively.
Meanwhile, Black RockIBIT stood out as the only exception, recording an inflow of $29.46 million. The remaining Bitcoin ETFs recorded no inflows during the day.
The total trading volume of the 12 Bitcoin ETFs reached $3.17 billion, slightly lower than the $3.26 billion recorded the previous day.
The large outflows recorded on January 13 coincided with Bitcoin, the main cryptocurrency, briefly falling below the $90,000 level on Monday.
Crypto assets have fallen since last week after stronger-than-expected payroll numbers, causing bond yields to rise. Additionally, concerns over President-elect Donald Trump's tariff plans have strengthened the dollar while putting pressure on Bitcoin and other risk assets.

Ethereum ETFs are also facing outflows
The nine Ethereum ETFs recorded their fourth straight day of outflows on January 13, with $39.43 million withdrawn from the funds.
Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust reported an outflow of $37.84 million per day, and its GBTC fund also contributed to the negative momentum with $14.49 million exiting the fund.
BlackRock's ETHA was able to offset some of the outflows with an inflow of $12.9 million observed on the day. The remaining ETFs remained flat on the day.
