alias Shiba Inu Lucy, the team's marketing lead, posted a tweet dedicated to the SHIB Metaverse — a project that has been in the works for the past two years but no updates have been released for a really long time.
Lucy posted a reminder about what the Metaverse will be like on Shibarium and what it can offer Shibarium users.
SHIB Metaverse Recap and Early Access
Lucie's post showcases the Metaverse project that the SHIB developer team has been working on. She reminded the community that the Metaverse will be powered by the Shibarium layer 2 solution and will be much more than just a digital space for the vast global SHIB community but a “platform for creativity, communication and ownership.”
“Own, trade and develop virtual real estate,” says Lucy’s reminder that in the Metaverse anyone can claim their digital land registered on the blockchain. The Metaverse allows for the creation of custom avatars “with endless customization options that reflect your style and vision.”
The Metaverse contains all kinds of locations – “cozy havens” and “bustling cities.” Parts of the virtual lands here are called “hubs” and over the past two years, the SHIB team has introduced several of them to the community, which include locations like “WAGMI Temple,” “Rocket Pond,” etc.
The Metaverse is expected to become a massive virtual hub for the SHIB community, allowing users to spend time in it, meet, share ideas, enjoy themselves, relax, hold meetings, etc. “Join a vibrant community to create, collaborate, and explore limitless possibilities together.
Lucy shared a link to the official SHIB website which indicates that official early access to it is already open.
