NFT sales fell to $132 million, and Pudgy Penguins lost ground

The NFT market continues to cool as the total market value of cryptocurrencies rose to $3.6 trillion from $3.42 trillion last week, according to CoinMarketCap data.

CryptoSlam Data shows that NFT sales fell 17.54% to $132.7 million this week. This is much less than Sales last week amounted to $152 million. However, the market saw greater participation from traders, indicating continued interest in lower price levels.

Market activity is showing mixed signals:

  • NFT sales volume fell to $132.7 million from $152.7 million last week
  • The number of NFT buyers increased by 25.54% to 667,116
  • NFT sellers rose 23.96% to 382,754
  • Total transactions decreased by 16.96% to 1,326,111

Major blockchain networks are seeing mixed results

Ethereum (Ethereum) NFT sales fell 25.72% to $56 million, despite buyer numbers rising 14.35% to 72,241. Trading on Ethereum fell by 42.38% to $13.5 million.

Bitcoin (Bitcoin) NFTs moved against the trend, with sales rising 8.38% to $30.3 million. The network attracted 67,423 buyers, an increase of 13.68% from the previous week.

Mythos Chain rose to third place with sales of $11.8 million, an increase of 3.63%. Solana (Sol) to fourth place as sales fell by 57.91% to $9.4 million, despite having the highest number of buyers at 234,220.

immutable (Small and medium enterprises) rounded out the top five with sales of $8.2 million, up 2.67%, with 18,350 buyers.

The group rankings show significant shifts

Azuki took first place with sales of $9.4 million, up 3.13% despite lower buyer numbers. It is followed by DMarket with sales of $6.7 million, showing a growth of 7.72% and maintaining a high transaction volume with 240,918 transactions.

BRC-20 NFTs take third place with a value of $5.8 million despite a decrease of 11.33%. The Guild of Guardians Heroes saw growth of 13.74% to $5.7 million, while Pudgy Penguins fell to fifth place with $5.3 million, down 57.64% with a sharp decline in buyers and transactions.
